OUR COMPANY IS GROWING Advanced Plastics, a leading full-service injection molding facility with over 35 years of experience, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic team.
Daily Job Summary: Operate precision machine tools and execute various tasks related to the construction and repair of plastic injection molds.
Essential Functions:
Set-up and proficiently operate CNC vertical machining center.
Skillfully operate Bridgeport milling machine, manual lathe, CNC sinker EDM machine, surface grinder, and tool grinder.
Conduct metal finishing and polishing to exacting standards.
Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and molds.
Execute insert changes for molds in injection machines.
3D CNC programming using MasterCam
Additional Functions:
Attend mandatory safety meetings.
Fulfill assigned duties on the safety committee.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned or needed by the manager.

Exceptional proficiency in operating all machinery listed under essential functions.
Profound understanding and use of precision measuring equipment.
Extensive knowledge of metal finishing and polishing techniques.
Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Strong aptitude for precision and accurate calculations.
Capacity to multitask efficiently and complete tasks promptly.
