    We are seeking a 2nd/3rd shift skilled Tool and Die Repair associate to join our team. As a Tool & Die Repair associate, you will be responsibility for designing, building, and repairing tools, dies, jigs and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. Your expertise in machining and metalwork will be essential in ensuring the production of high-quality parts and components.

    This full-time role is part of our team and reports to the Tool & Die Manager .

    Duties:

    • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
    • Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, or EDM machines to fabricate parts
    • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools using hand tools or precision measuring instruments
    • Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects using precision measuring instruments
    • Test completed tools or dies to ensure that they meet specifications
    • Troubleshoot issues with tooling or equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
    • Collaborate with engineers or tool designers to develop new tooling designs or modify existing ones
    • Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance and repairs
    • Connects wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components.

    SKILLS

    • Experience repairing large dies both inside presses and outside presses
    • Proficiency in hydraulics systems
    • Excellent English language skills for clear communication
    • Welding experience for fabrication or repair work
    • Electrical knowledge for troubleshooting purposes
    • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
