What it takes to succeed:

Some basic duties include:

• Drill micro diameter vacuum holes in thermoform tooling.
• Polish aluminum mold tooling to industry standards.
• Set up, adjust, and operate manual thermoforming machines & manual trim presses to form and trim-cut plastic prototype samples to customer’s specifications.
• Assist tool room personnel with assembling and disassembling production tooling as needed.
• Complete and submit to the supervisor all required documents, forms, and other required paperwork.
• Mechanical ability to setup, adjust, and operate manual thermoforming machines, manual trim press, and hand trim sample parts using scissors.
• Able to safely operate a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools including drill press, bandsaw, manual milling machine, and other machinery required to perform work tasks.
• Possess mechanical aptitude for identifying hardware sizes including bolt sizes and thread sizes.
