The company we're partnered with is a manufacturer of injection-molded packaging parts. They manufacture high-end parts in large or small quantities and have state-of-the-art capabilities. 

We are seeking a hands-on Toolroom Technician who can keep molding processes running smoothly and troubleshoot issues as needed to produce high-quality plastic components.

Preferred Experience -

• Ability to disassembly molds, clean mold components, and reassemble mold with some direction from Mold Maker.
• At least 1-3 years of experience performing preventative maintenance of molds/tools.
• 1-2 years of injection molding tooling experience

Essential Functions -

• Disassembly of molds, cleaning of mold components and reassembly of molds with some direction from tool maker
• Cleaning and straightening of mold vault. Cleaning and changing of washer unit and coolant tanks. Perform preventative maintenance of molding rooms
• Perform pin changes and complex conversions in multi-cavity tooling. In the press and in the Tool Room.
• Required to participate in a machine maintenance program
• Basic electrical troubleshooting of Hot Runners and Hot Runner controllers.
• Hydraulic Cylinder Maintenance and Repair.
