Successful candidate will prioritize and organize own work to deliver to agreed deadlines. Applies knowledge/skills to a variety of standard day to day activities to support the high speed production of cooking appliances. Identifies and solves problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures. Contributes actively in team activities, sharing experience and ideas.
KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ·
Troubleshoot and modify industrial control systems including electrical, electronic, motor control center, hydraulic, pneumatic, and temperature controls. · Improve operations (uptime, quality, data collection) through controls improvement · Assist operations and maintenance by troubleshooting failures and identifying corrections · Support plant operations as SME for electrical and controls systems · Weekend work may be required to support projects, improvements and repairs · Support weekly project meetings · Reports to Plant Sr Controls Engineer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ·
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Controls) · 7+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment · Ability to read and interpret electrical/controls drawings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office applications • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing • VFD and communication protocol • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and controls systems • Experience in a face paced production environment • Typical equipment includes: Stamping Presses, Bending & Forming Lines, Finishing Equipment, Robotic Gluing, Conveyors and Packaging.
