Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager manages the day-to-day activities and responsibilities of the Human Resources Department. This is a full-service position, managing day-to-day HR functions not limited to employee relations, leaves of absence, unemployment claims, recruitment and hiring, onboarding, retention, terminations, workplace verifications, and benefits enrollment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Is proactive in identifying issues that need analysis and/or resolution
- Handles all employee relations issues with tact, delicacy, professionalism and in accordance with applicable HR labor laws
- Develops, maintains, and improves current HR-related processes
- Create simple and dynamic process flows for everyday HR-related items
- Supports recruitment efforts to include identifying, supporting agencies and firms
- Familiar and comfortable with HR functions across various states and locales
- Ensures work product is accurate and to the highest standard
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Develops, in partnership with HR Management firm, internal policies and procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned

Location: New York, NY
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 DOE
