Cost Accounting Analyst
The Cost Accounting Analyst is responsible for providing management support for the Finance & Manufacturing Departments to ensure the success of the overall business. The Cost Accountant will have responsibility for managing the accounting, database and reporting related to the commercial manufacturing environment, cost accounting, and cost of goods sold.

Essential Functions
- Process material adjustments, finished goods inventory adjustments, scrap adjustments,
- Process expense transfer and correction, maintain cost tables, maintain expense queries, prepare cost reports and management reports, work with Division Office for the budget setup
- Prepare and analyze cost information report
- Responsible for profit/loss variance analysis, find the root cause for cost abnormality, work with related parties to find a resolution
- Prepare audit information: work with the auditor for the required information and reports for auditing, responsible for providing explanation, follow up and adjustment, perform manual physical inventory for internal and external auditing purposes
- Perform other duties or special projects as directed
- Analyze and prepare bill of material for new and existing products
- Ensuring BOM routing information is accurate and updated as needed
- Review finished production runs to match to anticipated usage
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), especially Microsoft Excel (strong analytical tools knowledge and experience, i.e. spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.)
- Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat others with respect and dignity
- Physical requirements include duties typical to a regular office environment as well as frequent interaction with logistics and production areas
- Must have good written communication skills
