Press Operator Topre America - Smyrna, TN 37167 $16.87 - $20.00 an hour These positions will involve the following: - run automatic, transfer, and tandem line presses at specified rates. - Perform first piece approval of production parts. - Select and load coils and blanks. - Be knowledgeable of and follow safety rules and practices. - Observe quality of your parts regularly, perform required quality checks, and do required quality documentation on time. - Be knowledgeable of and follow safety rules and practices. - Observe quality of your parts regularly, perform required quality checks, and do required quality documentation on time. - Perform operator preventative maintenance on press and related equipment as assigned. Skills needed: Maintain a high level of cleanliness and order to your operation and area. - Fill out and submit required paperwork as assigned. - Follow plant rules and regulations. - Participate in problem-solving and improvement activities. - Work as part of a team to achieve world-class production, quality, changeover times, safety performance, and housekeeping and organization.
