Tops Friendly Markets is a leading regional supermarket chain based in Williamsville, NY and operating over 150 stores throughout Upstate New York and the Hudson Valley, Northern Vermont, and Northern Pennsylvania.

Are you a MOTIVATED, CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED SELF-STARTER?  Then we want you to join our team as an OPERATIONS MANAGER TRAINEE in our Buffalo, NY stores!

As an OPERATIONS MANAGER TRAINEE you will oversee the entire store to ensure we cultivate and maintain a high level of customer service for our customers.  Additionally, you will oversee store merchandising and the day to day operations of our stores by implementing and maintaining all applicable sales and merchandising programs.  Additionally, you will provide support in labor relations and associate relations.  Lastly, you will provide support to the Assistant and Store Manager.

_WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE? _

Successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:

·         Prior Management Experience Required

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in the supermarket industry, with progressively more management experience

·         College degree preferred but not required

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
