General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, above average communication and organizational skills. Above all must be a team player with high level of dedication.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk up to 90% of the workday; occasional bending, squatting, ascending ladders/stairways, and occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds. Ability to assess weights and judge distance and heights is necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with Quality Assurance to ensure that tanks and vessels being produced are meeting quality and customer requirements.
Prepares vessels or other Smith Products for painting.
Prepares units for paint process including sanding, cleaning, and inspecting.
Prepares product to paint by blowing with air nozzle, wiping down with thinner, and taping.
Uses and has basic knowledge of small tools.
Average hours per week: 50-60
