Touchstone Bernays is a prominent medium-sized AV-rated law firm located in downtown Dallas that specializes in civil litigation and insurance defense. We have an exciting opportunity for an associate attorney with two to five years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense. We are looking for someone to fill a position that primarily involves legal research, writing, and litigation support. Judicial clerk experience in appellate or federal court is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Complex research and analysis.
• Preparation of appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Practice involves state and federal cases.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing skills.
• Interest and willingness to focus on research of complicated legal issues
• ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESUME AND WRITING SAMPLE (10 PAGES MAXIMUM). Preferred writing sample is motion or motion response that had been filed with Court.
• PLEASE INCLUDE ON RESUME ALL WRITING EXPERIENCE OR ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
• Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
