Tower Eye is a security company based in Marietta, GA. Due to an increase in our client base over the past few months, we are recruiting professional armed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our Operations team.

Successful candidates for this position will be deployed to various locations in the Macon and surrounding areas. You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

· Performing both regular and random patrols of posts you are deployed to

· Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences

· Documenting activities and submitting daily reports

· Investigating breaches of property and reporting all findings immediately to your Supervisor/Manager

· Crowd control

TASKS:

• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances;

• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons;

• Publicly present yourself to preserve order, protect property and act as a visual deterrent;

• Monitor and authorize access and egress of all persons to guard against theft, trespassing, vandalism and maintain security of premises;

• Patrol premises and communal areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, gates and the general security of the premises;

• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises;

• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, including incident reports where applicable.

ESSENTIAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a current and clean driver’s license;

• Own or have access to a reliable vehicle;

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older;

• Authorized to work in the United States;

• Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing;

• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation;

• Willing to participate in Tower Eye Services pre-employment process which may include drug testing and full background investigation;

• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard;

• At least two years verifiable work history;

• A credit check will be required on applicant;

• Criminal background check will be required on applicants;

• Experience is desirable but not necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent;

• Certificate in the State's Basic 24 hour Security Officer Training;

• Certificate in 40 hour Security Armed Training with Range Scores;

Please Note: training can be arranged for inexperienced candidates in both unarmed and/or armed areas.

WORK WEEK

• Work Week - Weekends ONLY (Fridays & Saturdays);

• Shift Patterns – Nights;

• Shift Hours - 6 hours
