    This is a hybrid role with two to three days onsite at the El Segundo office.

    POSITION: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER – PRODUCTION/MANUFACTURING

    We seek a talented and exceptional individual to join our team as our Plush and Plastics Project Manager. This high-powered project manager will support our design, product development, sales, and operations teams, along with all associated factory and production partners. This individual will organize and coordinate the product development and task delegation process from line conception and costing, through product production and shipment. The Project Manager will support the efforts of the design and development teams to track and manage product timelines, coordinate and lead PD related, factory facing meetings, and oversee the timely delivery of product-related milestones.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Organize, and delegate plush product development tasks and all associated reports, as directed
    • Create and manage tracking reports that organize new projects and their status throughout the development process
    • Track plush project calendar against each milestone to ensure the plus design team is on schedule
    • Organize PD kick-off meetings and publish timelines
    • Communicate with team members to ensure projects are on time and in line with required specifications
    • Manage essential day-to-day communication between internal and external partners for assigned brands
    • Troubleshoot organizational task challenges and work to keep the plush design team focused; work to upgrade efficiencies within the department
    • Align with Design Project Manager to ensure design information is recorded and properly disseminated
    • Review and proofread product information to ensure design and packaging efforts are in line with directed specifications
    • Assist with development of new processes and systems to allow the team to execute projects more efficiently
    • Review with stakeholders and managers any potential delays, process improvements and project successes.

    Position Requirements:

    • B.A./B.S. or equivalent career experience in related field
    • 4 to 6 years of project management experience within the plush product design and manufacturing industry
    • Strong understanding of fabrics and textiles within the plush industry
    •  Strong understanding of creative team management
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
    •  Detail orientated and flexible, with a love of the creative and product development process
    • Excellent understanding of Excel
    • Aptitude for learning new project management platforms
    • Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • No-drama collaborator that contributes and takes accountability within a team environment
    • Work effectively without micromanagement
  • Compensation
    $90,000 per year
