HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

Start up the Global Trade Compliance program, first in the US and then Globally reporting to the President. Must have start up Trade Compliance experience.

Can be based in San Francisco, NYC or possibly remote

EXPECTATIONS

• Start up the Trade Compliance program
• Develop policies and procedures
• Conduct trade compliance training
• Develop cost savings and improve importing/exporting processes
• Advise management on trade compliance issues
• Manage ITAR/EAR export licensing
• Work with Engineering Department
• Manage both import and export compliance
• Review systems and conduct audits

ESSENTIALS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience building and managing corporate global trade compliance programs
• Experience developing policies and procedures
• Experience with Customs compliance
• Experience with exports, State and Commerce Department export licensing
• Customs Broker’s License helpful
• Strong people management experience
• Some relo to San Francisco, NYC or there is a possibility of working remotely
