OUR CLIENT

Our client, an Am Law 200 firm with over 200 attorneys and offices in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., seeks a seasoned attorney with a strong background in trademark and related intellectual property laws, as well as litigation and dispute resolution. If you have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a law firm setting and are looking to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

THE ROLE

• Trademark Prosecution and Counseling: Leveraging experience in trademark clearance and prosecution, both domestic and global, to provide top-tier legal counsel to clients
• Litigation: Playing a crucial role in federal court litigation, drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents, while honing your litigation skills
• Creative Asset Review: Ensuring compliance with FTC and other advertising laws, while reviewing creative assets for major brands
• TTAB Proceedings: Managing Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings, and adding depth to your expertise in trademark law
• Client Counseling: Providing sound, practical legal advice to clients, and helping them navigate complex trademark and IP matters
  

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience in Copyright law
• Background in the restaurant, software, life sciences, and/or consumer packaged goods industries
• Proficiency in Spanish would be a plus
  

Compensation:

• $250k to $285k, with the potential for up to $320k for candidates with more senior experience.
