A DAY IN THE LIFE!
Each day you will work to diagnose, prioritize, and repair our fleet of trailers. Through collaboration with your team, you will prioritize work to be completed to ensure that critical equipment is repaired safely and efficiently. Work on trailers will consist of both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
WHO ARE YOU?
You are a passionate technician who enjoys working hands-on with heavy-duty equipment. You have experience diagnosing complex issues on trailers. As a mechanic, you understand the importance of keeping our fleet of professional drivers moving smoothly and safely. YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete preventative maintenance on Reitnouer, Wilson, and Benson trailers including lubrication, inspections, seals, bearings, and other preventative maintenance.
- Perform corrective maintenance on heavy equipment including brakes, electrical failures, frame repairs, etc.
- Diagnose trailers through inspections, light checks, and ABS software.
- Conduct annual DOT inspections on equipment.
- Manage work completed by utilizing the maintenance software to track hours, work completed, and parts utilized.
YOUR SKILLSET
- Expert-level understanding of hand and power tools.
- The ability to investigate and diagnose complex issues on equipment.
- The ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Driver's License.
- 1+ year(s) of experience completing repairs on trailers.
- You must supply your own toolset.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year(s) of experience repairing flatbed trailers.
- 1+ year(s) of experience within the transportation industry.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
- Salary: $20.43 -$25.24 per hour, decided based on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time on-site; Overtime eligible.
