Position Summary:
National Safety & Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Center Coordinator (TCC) to oversee the daily operations of our Emergency Response Training Department. This role is responsible for managing training schedules, coordinating instructors, handling student enrollment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements.
In addition to administrative duties, the TCC will also serve as an Emergency Response Instructor, delivering training courses in CPR, First Aid, BLS, and other emergency response programs. The ideal candidate will be an experienced instructor with strong leadership and organizational skills to support both training administration and instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Class Coordination & Scheduling:
Manage training schedules, ensuring instructors and training facilities are assigned appropriately.
Oversee class enrollment, ensuring students receive necessary pre-course information.
Monitor instructor availability and assist in coordinating coverage for scheduled courses.
Instructor Responsibilities:
Serve as an Emergency Response Instructor, teaching courses such as American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, American Red Cross (ARC) First Aid/CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed, OSHA training, and other emergency response programs.
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions that meet industry standards.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Student & Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, registrations, and certifications.
Maintain communication with corporate clients to schedule onsite training sessions.
Ensure timely issuance of course completion cards, certificates, and training records.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all training programs comply with AHA, ARC, OSHA, and other relevant training organizations.
Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, certification issuance, and instructor compliance.
Assist in audits and reports related to training program compliance.
Training Material & Inventory Management:
Ensure classrooms are equipped with necessary training materials, such as manikins, AED trainers, first aid supplies, and other instructional equipment.
Work with the Medical Equipment & Safety Supplies/Inventory Management Team to track and reorder training supplies as needed.
Marketing & Outreach:
Assist in promoting training programs to increase enrollment.
Distribute marketing materials and maintain relationships with local businesses, healthcare organizations, and schools.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Healthcare, Safety, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training coordination, administrative support, or education management.
Certified Instructor in AHA, ARC, Stop the Bleed, or other emergency response training (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and compliance is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training management software (e.g., Enrollware).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office, training center, and field settings.
Must be comfortable teaching in both classroom and hands-on training environments.
Occasional travel to offsite training locations may be required.
Must be able to lift training equipment (up to 25 lbs) when necessary.
