    Job Description

    As the Training Course Developer for Data Center Operations, you will be in charge of the development, implementation, organization, and administration of a comprehensive learning & development program for our mission critical facilities. This position works closely with the Training Facilitators as well as Points of Contact (POCs) from each of the Functional Areas, such as Facilities, Site Services, Logistics, EH&S, and other internal/external groups to implement and track training program objectives for the organization.

    • Collaborate with training coordinators and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop online, blended, and instructor-led training for internal/external groups.
    • Assist training coordinators with the planning and coordinating of materials with the course instructor, instructional design team, and cinematography team.
    • Fluency with instructional systems design models and methodologies, authoring tools, and learning management systems integration.
    • Experience analyzing, building, and assessing curricula for asynchronous and synchronous classroom-based or virtual training environments.
    • Experience with project management and time management tools and methodologies
    • Proficiency with word processor and presentation software applications including Pages and Keynote
    • Utilize instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and instructional technologies to design and develop high-quality learning materials, including online courses, e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and assessments.
    • Incorporate instructional technologies and e-learning authoring tools to design and develop online learning materials. Collaborate with multimedia specialists and developers to ensure seamless integration of interactive elements.

    Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning. Identify and recommend innovative approaches to enhance learning experiences.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 3+ years of instructional design experience on projects involving adult learning audiences
    • Data center experience a plus
    • Worked with SCORM packages
    • Worked with Camtasia, Snagit, Adobe Suite products
    • Familiar with HTML and CSS, experience with coding is a plus
