    Absolute Staffing is searching for a Training and Development Specialist to work with our client. 

    Employment Type: Temporary Contract Position (6-12 Months)
    Re-evaluation at the end of the contract for potential extension or permanent placement.

    Overview:
    A Training and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. By conducting needs assessments, creating instructional materials, and facilitating learning sessions, this role ensures alignment with organizational goals while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Needs Analysis:

      • Identify training needs across departments and employee levels through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
    • Curriculum Development:

      • Design comprehensive training programs, including course outlines, learning objectives, and instructional materials tailored to address skill gaps.
    • Training Delivery:

      • Facilitate training sessions using various formats such as classroom instruction, online modules, workshops, and mentoring programs.
    • Material Creation:

      • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and assessments.
    • Evaluation and Measurement:

      • Track and measure training effectiveness through post-training assessments, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms to improve future programs.
    • Stakeholder Management:

      • Collaborate with department managers to understand training requirements and align programs with organizational objectives.
    • Technology Integration:

      • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to manage training delivery, monitor progress, and access training data.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Instructional Design:

      • Proficiency in adult learning principles and designing effective training programs.
    • Communication and Presentation:

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting information clearly and facilitating engaging discussions.
    • Project Management:

      • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute training initiatives within specified timelines and budgets.
    • Analytical Thinking:

      • Skill in analyzing data to evaluate training outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Technological Proficiency:

      • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related technologies.
    • Adaptability:

      • Willingness to stay updated on emerging training methodologies and technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field preferred. 
    • Certification in instructional design, training facilitation, or related areas is a plus.
    • Experience in a corporate training or development role.
