    Job Description

    Transline Supply Co. is looking for a part time Web Designer to join our team here in Huntington Beach, California. You’ll have the opportunity to create layout for our products, marketing materials and web sites. You’ll need to be self-motivated and able to operate independently when needed. You’ll also be comfortable providing subject matter expertise, input and contribute as a valued team member. The ideal candidate will possess proven graphic design experience showing ability to work on collectable products.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • This role will implement high-quality design initiatives to elevate our product and business brands.
    • Maintain brand standards and specifications on all printed and online material while working to evolve the look and feel of the Transline brand.
    • Design from conception through completion on flyers, banners, logos, packaging and web pages.
    • Review and adjust art assets for all creative projects to maintain a high standard of aesthetic quality.
    • Deliver designs that can cross the mediums of online, print and video (i.e. web site landing pages, social media, infographics, brochures, flyers).
    • Collaborate with category managers to turn wireframes and concepts into simple, easy-to-use user interfaces.
    • Effectively communicate verbally with internal corporate team to help determine the direction of future creative projects.

    PROFESSIONAL ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a graphic designer.
    • Degree in digital design, (and/or) Graphic Design Experience in the Communication Arts preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) & Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
    • Must be an expert in Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software.
    • Strong understanding of typography, layout and color in both print and digital formats.
    • Must have photo retouching/photography experience and know how to use a digital SLR camera.
    • Strong interpersonal and professional skills and willing to work as a collaborative member of a team; takes direction from several sources at once.
    • Ability to accept feedback and constructive criticism.
    • Constantly learns and stays up-to-date on design trends and technology.
