Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport clients to and from the rehab facility, medical appointments, court appearances, and other approved locations.

Ensure the timely and efficient transport of clients while adhering to all traffic laws and facility policies.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.

Maintain accurate transportation logs and incident reports as required.

Provide compassionate and professional interactions with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Assist clients in and out of the vehicle when necessary.

Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle.

Communicate effectively with staff regarding transportation schedules and any client concerns.

Respond appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations while transporting clients.

Qualifications:

Valid and active driver’s license

Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations).

Previous experience as a transport driver, chauffeur, or in a similar role preferred.

Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully with clients in recovery.

Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

Capability to assist clients with mobility challenges.

Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, if needed.
