TRANSPORTATION DELIVERY DRIVER
FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT HOURLY POSITION
Position Summary:
The Distribution/Transportation Crew Member is responsible for the daily loading and delivery of product to stores as assigned. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
Up to $22.50 – $26.00 per hour DOE
Sign On Bonus
Schedule: Mon-Fri days (4:45am start), weekends off
Essential Functions:
Perform pre- and post-trip checks for all deliveries.
Maintain all paperwork including log books, master sheets, fuel receipts, delivery invoices, over/short sheets, and any other necessary paperwork.
Communicate effectively with stores to let them know expected arrival time and call supervisor to authorize any store returns.
Remove all trash from tractor trailer after routes and ensure doors and windows are properly secured before leaving for the day
Must be able to operate all equipment and have knowledge to maintain equipment to meet compliance guidelines
Must be able to deliver to assigned routes in a safe and timely manner
Must work with stores in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications/Physical Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):
Must be able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions in both a safe and legal manner. Must not have License restrictions.
Must possess current Class A CDL driver’s license and have DOT knowledge.
Must possess a polite and friendly attitude.
Must be neat and clean in appearance.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be familiar and proficient with all commissary/warehouse duties.
Ability move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted up and down a ramp.
The employee is frequently required to sit, speak and hear.
The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & DOT drug screen, and have an acceptable MVR driving record.
