Back to You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation/Home and Back to You is looking for an energetic Full-time transportation manager/driver who will provide and maintain the highest standard of care to our patients that we are transporting to their appointments.
As a premier health care provider in the Metro Detroit community, Back to You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation delivers expert injury rehabilitation, chronic pain treatment, nutrition education, and elite fitness training to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
Manage Daily Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of transportation services.
Monitor and manage fleet performance, ensuring vehicles are maintained and available for service.
Driver Scheduling and Management
Develop and maintain drivers' schedules to meet service demands and optimize route efficiency.
Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, addressing any issues that arise during shifts.
Conduct regular driver meetings to discuss performance, safety protocols, and updates.
Client and Adjuster Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, adjusters, and healthcare providers.
Follow up with adjusters to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and adjusters.
Billing and Financial Oversight
Review and approve all billing related to transportation services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all credit cards.
Track and manage accounts receivable, following up on unpaid invoices and coordinating with the billing department as needed.
Prepare financial reports related to the transportation services, including revenue, expenses, and payment statuses.
Compliance and Safety Management
Ensure all operations comply with state and federal regulations, including vehicle maintenance, driver qualifications, and patient safety standards.
Implement and enforce company policies related to safety, conduct, and service standards.
Conduct regular audits of vehicles, driver records, and operations to ensure compliance.
Customer Service
Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality.
Work to develop strategies for customer retention and satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, train, and mentor the transportation team, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
Conduct performance evaluations and address any disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages team engagement and high performance.
Data Management and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including trip logs, billing records, and client interactions.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and financial metrics.
Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement in service delivery.
Strategic Planning
Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to grow the business and expand services.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the industry.
Work with upper management to set goals and objectives for the transportation department.
Technology Integration
Oversee the implementation and use of transportation management software (trackers, cameras, tablets) to improve efficiency and tracking.
Ensure that all team members are trained on any new technology or software used in operations.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirement to have clean driving record and a chauffeur license. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7am-7pm. This does not mean that is the set schedule, you will be required to work hours set my manager and needs in clinic.
