Job description
A Transport Monitor works on a transport vehicle to provide safe transportation to occupants. Their main job duties are to help riders on and off the transport vehicles, supervise them during transport, and transfer them to the correct parents or guardians. Transport Monitors supervise and support riders with disabilities and/or special needs.
A good Transport Monitor enjoys working with diverse types of people. Although the job's main aspect is ensuring riders' safety, it also involves establishing good relationships with the riders and their loved ones. A transport monitor is essential in following proper vehicle safety lessons, including seatbelt safety and keeping riders seated while driving. They also help solve problems and disputes if they arise and must remain alert for any issues. A good bus monitor needs to sense issues, create solutions, and get support when needed.
Responsibilities:
Support Riders on their journey with us, making sure their safety and needs are prioritized
Demonstrate ability to conduct emergency bus evacuation procedures.
Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures; dispatch emergency services for serious situations.
Provide appropriate intervention in conflict situations according to ISS standards; notify the principal or office when necessary.
Charter school transportation
Fill out required daily forms to maintain accurate Company Documentation & Standards
Requirements:
Ability to work Monday – Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Variable hours (20 – 40) per week are available.
Pass comprehensive Background Check/ Drug testing.
Maintain a professional appearance every day. Wearing company uniform and required ID tags.
Consistent Attendance
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Showing a positive attitude, being ethical, and treating your managers, colleagues, and clients with respect.
Pass and maintain a CPR certification

Compensation: $19.25/ hour
