Role

As a Route Scheduler (also known as Logistics Coordinator, Route Planner), you will be responsible for scheduling and sequencing routes in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner using computerized programs. Your duties will include matching customer orders to appropriate truck loads, balancing loads per trailer by size and weight of product, building cost-effective routes while maintaining customer needs, and working closely with Sales and Warehouse Departments to determine delivery feasibility. You will also prepare various reports on a daily basis and maintain routing software system parameters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years in a related environment.
• Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, Microsoft Excel, and basic math skills.
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues independently and work scheduled hours and any required overtime.
