THIS IS A TRAVEL SALES POSITION. YOU WILL BE TRAVELING 75% OF THE YEAR. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN ANY PARTICULAR CITY OR STATE, BUT MUST BE NEAR AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Leasing Specialist shall devote their best efforts and substantially all their business time and attention to the business of the Company. Your primary focus will be to get leases. Your secondary focus is to improve operational efficiency in a targeted area, such as customer engagement or online marketing. You must follow Empower’s way of leasing to secure as many leases as possible on each assignment. You will lead the onsite team in securing renewals, new leases, creating, promoting and monitoring outreach marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Generating and Handling Traffic
Handling phone calls and onsite traffic
Following Up with Prospects
Qualifying Prospects
Conducting Tours
Securing Leases
Facilitating on-site staff training
Preparing lease documents
Maintain excellent customer service
Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and the comps in the market
Achieve and exceed occupancy and prelease goals
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
QUALIFICATION
Excellent communication skills demonstrating verbal and written expression, active listening and ability to maintain interpersonal relationships
Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of sales approaches
Prioritization and organization of time and customers
Willingness to work non-traditional hours
Multi-family or student housing experience
Must have passion for sales
Confidence, creativity and organizational skills
A can-do attitude with the tenacity to get the job done, no matter what
