  • Responsibilities

    Travel RN- Clinic- North Dakota-

    American Consultants is looking for three RN's for their Clinic. 2 for the Ortho clinic, and 1 for the Urology clinic.

    Pay Package:

    $60/hour= $2400 week ($60 x 40)

    $59/day meal stipend= $413/week ($59 x 7)

    Travel, housing and rental car provided

    Monday- Friday schedule

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Patient Assessment & Care:

      • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
      • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments according to physician orders and clinic protocols.
      • Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other hands-on nursing care as required by clinic patient needs.
    • Patient Education & Support:

      • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance.
      • Offer lifestyle advice, preventive health information, and post-treatment care instructions to enhance patient well-being.
    • Coordination & Communication:

      • Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinic staff to coordinate patient care and share relevant information.
      • Update patient electronic health records (EHR) accurately and in a timely manner to ensure seamless care continuity.
      • Communicate any significant changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team promptly.
    • Compliance & Safety:

      • Adhere to clinic protocols and state nursing standards to maintain patient safety and care quality.
      • Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
      • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of medications, biohazard materials, and patient samples.

    Qualifications:

    • Education & Certification:

      • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required.
      • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of [Location] or multi-state license.
      • CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on the clinic’s specialty.
    • Experience:

      • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in outpatient or clinic environments.
      • Experience in travel nursing is a plus; comfort with adapting to different clinical settings is essential.
    • Skills & Competencies:

      • Excellent clinical and assessment skills, with a proactive approach to patient care.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and a diverse healthcare team.
      • Adaptability, flexibility, and a positive attitude to handle changes in schedule or work environment.
