    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior-Level Electronic Security Systems Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of RS2 AccessIt! software and have extensive experience working on federal contracts. This position requires advanced technical expertise, including the highest certification obtainable for RS2 AccessIt!, and a strong understanding of federal security regulations and protocols.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
    • Perform system upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with federal standards.
    • Lead and oversee the installation and integration of RS2 AccessIt! access control systems within federal environments.
    • Conduct regular system audits and preventive maintenance.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to deliver high-quality security solutions on federal contracts.
    • Provide expert-level technical support and training to junior technicians and federal clients.
    • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, certifications, and technological advancements.
    • Ensure all work complies with federal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
    • National travel M-F 85%+ of the time.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic security systems, with a focus on RS2 AccessIt! software.
    • RS2 AccessIt! Professional Certification (or equivalent) required. RS2 AccessIt! Certified Expert (ACE) Certification is preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience with federal contracts and knowledge of federal security regulations and standards.
    • Strong technical skills in networking, system integration, and electronic security hardware.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust background.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a senior or lead technician role.
    • Additional certifications in electronic security, such as NICET, or other relevant industry certifications.
    • Familiarity with federal security systems and protocols, including FIPS and HSPD-12 compliance.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Willingness to travel to various federal sites as required.
    • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and high-security locations.
