We are seeking to add a few Traveling Controls & Automation Technicians to join our team. This position will support building automation systems using a variety of platforms and controllers. Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) Life Insurance Responsibilities: • Set up and adjust control systems, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation machinery. • Regularly inspect and perform preventive maintenance on control systems and automation equipment to guarantee peak performance. • Troubleshoot and rectify technical problems and malfunctions in control systems and automation equipment. • Work together with engineers and colleagues to develop and execute enhancements and changes to control systems. • Record all maintenance and repair tasks, as well as any adjustments made to equipment and updates to software. • Educate operators and maintenance staff on the correct utilization and upkeep of control systems and automation machinery. • Keep yourself informed about the most recent developments in control systems and automation technology in order to offer suggestions for enhancement. • Acquire skills in panel assembly and fault diagnosis. Qualifications: • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required; however, having an associate degree in electrical or automation technology is highly desirable. • Demonstrated expertise in the installation, upkeep, and resolution of issues with control systems and automation machinery. • Proficiency in electrical and electronic components, circuits, and systems. • Proficiency in understanding and analyzing technical diagrams, blueprints, and instructional guides. • Exceptional abilities in problem-solving and resolving issues. • Exceptional focus on details and capability to work autonomously. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Strong control wiring capabilities. • Strong schematic and print reading capabilities. • Strong control troubleshooting capabilities. • Strong abilities using Niagra 4 software. • Able to travel 90% of the time. Compensation: $40+ hourly DOE
