Job Purpose
KHI Medical is looking for individuals with computer, construction, and mechanical skills to participate in renovation services and installation of surgical equipment in operating rooms. In addition to a good work ethic, candidates will need 2-3 years of experience in the following skills:
Basic general construction skills.
Pull, install, and terminate CAT 5/6, VGA, S-Video, etc…
Install and mount video monitors.
Install surgical lights, equipment booms, and cabinetry in operating rooms.
Cable management.

Expectations for Medical Equipment Installation Technicians
KHI Installation Technicians will be expected to travel throughout the country to participate in all aspects of renovating operating rooms. As part of the team, installation technicians will participate in the demo and installation work for above ceiling structures, surgical booms, surgical lights, and surgical monitors. Applicants should have the following attributes:
Ability to travel overnight, 80% of the time, throughout the country.
Able to read plans and follow scope of work, installing equipment to written specifications.
Knowledgeable in handling, pulling, terminating, and testing low voltage cable.
Ability to work in a crouched or kneeling position and in confined spaces.
Preferred certifications, such as OSHA, CPR/First Aid and Infection Control.
Possessing basic construction skills for renovation work.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Apps, etc…
Willing to work weekdays and weekends, as required for specific jobs.
Compensation
$18 – $23 per hour Starting, based on experience.
