Joining our expanding HVAC team in San Diego, CA, you will be tasked with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and skillfully installing various HVAC systems. Your responsibilities will also involve configuring indoor air quality and control systems. Proficiency in blueprint interpretation, codes, and manuals is a must-have for this position. Comfort with using a range of HVAC tools efficiently is essential. Responsibilities: • Probe tubing joints, pipes, and connections for possible leaks • Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems • Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures • Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment • Outline and join electrical wiring according to the diagram using hand tools Qualifications: • Journeyman Certification Required : Must have completed an accredited journeyman program • Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections • Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician • Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics • Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills Compensation: $30 - $36 hourly
