    Job Description

    The Human Resources Manager is a new position that was created to provide better support to employees, managers, and the company during our period of growth.  They will be responsible for being a front-line resource for employees and managers alike as well as ensuring that HR activities align with and support the TCS World Travel culture. The HR Manager reports to Travelopia’s Head of HR, North America, with a dotted line to the Managing Director at TCS World Travel.

    Responsibilities

    • Coach and support managers to provide impactful employee performance management
    • Partner with Executive Team to ensure an exceptional employee experience
    • Provide high-level customer service and responsiveness to manager and employee questions
    • Respond to managers and employees regarding policies, procedures, and processes
    • Serve as a first-responder on employee relations questions and escalates as needed
    • Partner with managers on organizational design, succession planning, and talent assessment
    • Assist with recruiting process including scheduling interviews and extending offers, as needed
    • Work with divisional HR team for compensation plan design and recommendations
    • Design and conduct effective employee onboarding
    • Liaise with Learning & Development team to recommend and provide training opportunities to employees
    • Update and maintain job descriptions
    • Working with divisional HR support, own and oversee performance management process
    • Serve as local contact for Employee Health & Safety program
    • Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures
    • Answer employee inquiries on payroll and benefit issues, escalating when needed
    • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
    • Coordinate office facilities support when needed
    • Respond to unemployment claims, employment verification and government census reports
    • Prepare management reports consisting of human resources data as needed
    • Maintain absolute confidentiality, professionalism, integrity and compliance with applicable laws and regulations at all times
