Overview:
The Outside Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning, set-up and execution of events. Coordinators work closely with fellow TravisMathew team members to execute events from start to finish. Essentials responsibilities include hosting conference calls to discuss logistics, coordinating responsibilities with associates, hosting local events and completing all post-event responsibilities. In addition, Coordinators may be required to assist other departments with daily tasks when time permits.
Essential Functions:
- Execute all local events, including, but not limited to, charity golf torments, member-guest golf tournaments and corporate parties.
- Manage the pre-event and post-event planning processes for a set of assigned vehicles.
- Represent the TravisMathew brand, culture and core values by selling and promoting at events.
- Ensure the completion of all pre and post-event responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of TravisMathew product line (product names, styles, fits and fabrics)
- Lead conference calls to discuss logistics, details and expectations.
- Demonstrate a willingness to travel for specialty events (tradeshows, Tour Bus events, etc.)
- Enter outside event orders when time permits, and demand is high
- Assist other departments during the Outside Event off-season
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required
- 1 - 2 years of sales or event experience a plus
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Etc.)
- Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills
- Advanced organizational skills a must
- Exceptional ability to independently manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
- Must be willing to travel to local and non-local events regularly
- Must possess a clean driving record, with no history of DUIs
- Experience driving mid-size vehicles a plus, but not required
- Travel: 30%
