    Summary:

    The Treasury Relationship Manager will be responsible for cultivating new business relationships and fostering growth with existing clients. The role will involve identifying and pursuing potential opportunities, providing expert guidance on our comprehensive range of treasury management products and services, and ensuring that members are fully informed about the benefits of partnering with ECU. This position will also play a key role in building strong relationships with members, acting as a trusted advisor, and referring them to other relevant ECU products and services as needed.

    · Business Development: Actively seek out and cultivate new business relationships within the treasury management sector.

    · Relationship Management: Strengthen and maintain existing member relationships.

    · Product Expertise: Provide expert knowledge of treasury management products, services, and tailored solutions.

    · Member Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor, recommending appropriate financial solutions to meet members’ needs.

    Responsibilities:

    · Business Development:

    o Identify and pursue potential business opportunities within ECU’s field of membership and beyond.

    o Network with local business leaders to promote ECU's deposit and lending solutions.

    o Develop new business relationships through targeted outreach and relationship development efforts.

    o Maintain a database of prospective business members for future engagement.

    o Coordinate and present continuing business education to the community.

    o Attend appropriate events to build relationships and identify opportunities.

    o Collaborate with regional directors and branch staff to ensure effective outreach and support.

    o Identify potential sponsorship opportunities to enhance ECU's visibility.


    · Member Service:

    o Provide exceptional member service through excellent communication, responsiveness, and follow-up.

    o Maintain a strong understanding of the treasury management industry and share this knowledge with business members.

    o Educate members on audit requirements related to ACH origination, positive pay software, and other financial instruments.

    · Product Knowledge:

    o Stay informed about ECU's full range of business products and services.

    o Understand the benefits and applications of various business accounts, deposits, loans, and other financial offerings.


    · Business Onboarding:

    o Conduct reviews with prospective business owners to assess their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

    o Gather necessary application data and assist with the onboarding process.

    o Manage a pipeline of potential new business members.

    o Coordinate with Business Services and Branch Operations management and staff to address business deposit needs.


    · Reporting:

    o Prepare and submit monthly activity reports.

    o Assist team members in other regions as needed.


    · Compliance:

    o Adhere to strict confidentiality standards for member accounts and ECU corporate information.

    o Prioritize personal safety and awareness at events.

    o Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory compliance, including ACH regulations, Autobooks, check ordering, and other relevant financial instruments.


    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrated success in business development and meeting production goals
    • Demonstrated ability to establish network of referral business
  • Qualifications

    Minimum

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
    • 5+ years of medical sales/clinical experience required, diagnostic/interventional catheterization laboratory experience preferred
    • 2+ years of managing field sales teams
    • Coaching experience in a leadership or managerial role
    • A competitive drive that is motivated by meeting sales quotas
    • Demonstrated organizational and territory planning/management skills
    • Strong business acumen
    • Demonstrated aptitude for the clinical environment in a diagnostic/interventional cardiovascular laboratory
    • High level of professionalism
    • Proven negotiation skills
    • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
    • Exceptional customer interface skills – ability to understand the customer needs and the ability to communicate those needs back
    • Must live in the region/geography

    Preferred

    • 5 years Sales Management experience
    • Record of 3-5 years of achievement in selling medical devices
    • Demonstrated experience building business relationships with KOL’s in the field

    Other

    • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
    • Ability to travel domestically approximately 70% of the time
