Your Role: As our Treatment Plan Financial Coordinator, you will play a crucial role as the initial point of contact for our patients. You'll compassionately discuss and clearly communicate financial responsibilities and payment options, turning patient inquiries into scheduled treatments. Your professionalism, warmth, and persuasive communication skills will empower patients to move forward confidently with life-changing care.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet patients, building trust and rapport from their very first contact.
Discuss treatment plans, financial responsibilities, and financing options clearly and empathetically.
Convert inquiries and consultations into scheduled treatment appointments through effective communication and follow-up.
Manage patient financial arrangements and accurately maintain financial records.
Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently.
Handle incoming phone calls professionally and address patient inquiries promptly.
Utilize strong computer skills to manage patient records, scheduling systems, and other office management software.
Oversee daily front office operations, including maintaining a welcoming reception area and managing office supplies.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with external vendors and service providers.
Collaborate closely with clinical staff and providers to ensure seamless patient experiences.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy standards.
Follow up regularly with patients to encourage continued care and resolve any concerns.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a medical, dental, or orthodontic financial coordinator or treatment sales role.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.
Proven ability to explain financial plans and overcome objections.
Experience with patient management systems and familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in managing appointments, handling phone calls, and utilizing computer software.
A warm, engaging personality with high emotional intelligence and empathy.
Experience with TMJ, sleep therapy, or similar specialized medical practice is a plus.
