You'll be responsible for trimming, pruning, removing, treating, and planting trees. You have proven field experience in arboriculture and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Responsibilities: • Use handsaws, chainsaws, tree trimmers, and pruners for tree maintenance • Fulfill tree-removal services • Set new trees in soil and support them with braces • Recognize and manage diseased trees • Meet with clients to identify their landscaping needs • Proficient in all levels of pruning following A300 standards • Safely work in tree canopies by climbing and aerial lifts Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • Must be proficient in the biology and anatomy of tree and soil • Comfortable working on aerial lifts, and physically capable of climbing trees and lifting heavy objects is required • Driver’s license required • We require candidates have a bachelor’s degree in the environmental sciences or related field, or equivalent field experience Compensation: $55,000 - $62,400 yearly
