    Our client is a multi-billion dollar real estate company based in Southern California that owns and manages a variety of high-profile real estate investments and owns an entertainment company that provides resources like studio design and development, studio management, design and development, equipment and prop services, and more to major production companies and small-to-midsize operations all around the world.

    They’re seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to create and execute the company’s real estate strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in underwriting, finance, due diligence, and structuring in the real estate world.

    This is an in-person role based in Los Angeles, CA.


    Responsibilities:
    - Use insights and data presented by Acquisitions, Finance, and Operations teams to build complex financial models
    - Work with investment team members to prep projected return and qualitative analytics for dispositions and recapitalizations
    - Analyze liquidity events through the preparation of cashflow and waterfall models to assess return metrics
    - Create and refine financial models to evaluate joint ventures, acquisitions, and current operating businesses
    - Update asset reforecasts, valuation and funding models, and budget analysis procedures
    - Draw key insights regarding liquidity events by preparing waterfall and cash flow models to assess various return metrics
    - Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies within the portfolio
    - Assist with additional administrative duties; including scheduling, deal pipeline management, minute keeping, database maintenance, etc. as needed
    - Sit at the center of deal flow and modeling, working closely with the VP of Finance

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field, required
    - 1-3+ years of experience with investment banking
    - Real estate experience, required
    - Best-in-class financial modeling and Excel skills
    - Ability to think outside the box and solve problems creatively using deductive reasoning, financial modeling, and quant skills
    - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team
    - Excellent communication skills with the ability to keep calm under pressure
