Bankruptcy/creditors' rights associate attorney - Work Remotely
Job Description
Unique FULLY REMOTE Opportunity: National high-end commercial collections and bankruptcy boutique seeks an experienced Georgia licensed attorney to (virtually) manage the firm’s Georgia operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a creditors’ rights bankruptcy docket and also to be able to receive and work Georgia state court creditors’ right matters. The firm is virtual and this position can be done from anywhere. Heavy client interaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work autonomously and as part of a team managing a national creditors’ rights bankruptcy docket for a variety of clients, including equipment finance lenders
-Handle all inbound GA state court creditors’ rights matters
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience with creditors’ rights bankruptcy under the federal rules and code as well as significant GA state court creditors’ rights experience including replevin and post-judgment collections matters
-Must be Georgia licensed
-Ability to build rapport with clients and explain legal issues in layperson terms
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
