This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer who is proficient/fluent in Spanish and eager to use their advocacy skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients. The ideal candidate is an individual who has courtroom experience, is vested in every case, is eager to learn, is creative, and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate will also have strong written and oral advocacy, effective caseload management, and excitement to be a member of a team breaking barriers on what a modern firm can be and should be. We offer multiple perks and benefits, including the following: • Health Insurance/Vision Insurance /Dental Insurance • IRA and IRA matching • Paid time off • Paid government holidays • Generous PTO schedule Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, hearings, and trials • Develop legal strategies, prepare briefs, motions, and other court documents • Provide high-quality legal counsel and advocacy to individuals facing deportation or seeking asylum • Conduct client interviews, gather evidence, and prepare witnesses for court appearances • Counsel clients by evaluating options and determining the best course of action for a favorable outcome Qualifications: • Possess a Juris Doctor from a law school that is accredited • Must hold a license to practice law granted by the highest court of any state • Excellent advocacy and courtroom presentation skills • Strong research, writing, and communication abilities • Ability to handle a fast-paced case load • Proficiency in Spanish is required • Commitment to social justice and a passion for helping immigration communities Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly
