Triaplex, Inc. is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a background in C++ and Python to join our team. This position will support a mission-focused customer during the full life-cycle development of a Radio Frequency Processing System. Additional experience with RF or digital processing algorithms and frameworks is preferred, with the focus on software development to meet mission needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Debug existing software and correct defects using C++ and Python.
- Utilize RF domain knowledge to implement processing stages and algorithms.
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
- Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
- Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams
- Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project
- Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
- Generate automate scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Twenty years' relevant experience as a Software Engineer
- Four years' additional relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
- TS/SCI with polygraph

- Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes / K8s, CI/CD, Sprint Development
- Proficient developing in C++ and Python 3.0
