  • Responsibilities

    Triaplex, Inc. is looking for a Systems Administrator with a strong background in Linux and DevOps administration to join our team. This position will support a number of mission-focused customers with a variety of software deployments. Additional experience and capability to perform Mac OS and Windows administration is desired.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage clusters and individual workstations in an enterprise environment.
    • Utilize ticket-based systems such as JIRA , JIRA Service Desk, Service Now to prioritize and report on tasks and status items.
    • Utilize and understand package management systems in various platforms: such as yum, rpm, homebrew.
    • Perform SSP maintenance tasks and resolve / track outstanding system vulnerabilities.
    • Engage with users, analysts, and developers, on requirements, needs, and toolsets.
    • Troubleshoot networking, storage, virtualization, and latency issues.
    • Create and sign packages for deployments to workstations, servers, and containers.
    • Load Operating System software and create initial configurations using PXE or an equivalent startup system.
    • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and key stakeholders based on system capacity and user experience.
    • Create scripts to automate tasks and perform routine and distributed tasks.
    • Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
    • At least 5 years' previous experience as a Systems Administrator.
    • Five years' additional relevant experience as a Systems Administrator may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
    • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PERL, or BASH.
    • TS/SCI with polygraph

    Desired Skillsets

    • Experience creating and managing clusters of containers using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
    • Experience with Ansible and/or Puppet.
    • At least one technical certification from the below (or equivalent):
      • CISSP
      • RedHat Certified Engineer/System Administrator
      • COMPTIA Security+
