WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (1) You will be using your phone and email every day. (2) You will be calling prospects to generate new business for the company and build a book of business. (3) You will be negotiating freight rates with various carriers. It’s like a game. The better you are at negotiating rates, the more money you will make. (4) You will be booking trucks and moving freight for new and existing customers. No two days are the same though. Every day at work will be different and bring new challenges. (5) You will be solving problems regarding shipments and help your team find alternative options if needed.
