    OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

    LOCATION: TACOMA, WA

     

    SUMMARY:

    Trimlite/CODEL Doors is a manufacturer of doors and glass with facilities in Ontario, British Columbia, Washington, Ohio and Florida. We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to promote Trimlite/CODEL products and services, make regular sales calls to grow sales, achieve sales targets, provide product training, maintain customer relations, and other general sales and customer service activities.

    CUSTOMER SALES

    · Arrange and keep a daily schedule to make regular customer sales contacts or visits

    · Establish specific sales objectives, goals, or proposals for each customer contact or visit

    · Determine key customer contacts and schedule time in advance of visit

    · Engage customers about specific sales objectives, goals, and proposals and develop plan(s) on how to achieve and ask them for their business

    · Contact each key customer associate related to Trimlite/CODEL sales efforts and plans and ensure communications and objectives are clear.

    · Inquire about customer service or warranty matters that need special attention and follow-up and follow-through with resolution

    · Ensure customers have all necessary sales materials including brochures, product pricing, samples, displays, etc.

    · Ensure all Trimlite/CODEL displays are current and in good condition. Clean/touch-up/repair/replace/relocate as necessary

    · Inform customers of your schedule and inquire about sales call frequency needs and expectations

    · Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management

    CUSTOMER TRAINING:

    · Provide basic working product knowledge, and explanation of distinctions and benefits of Trimlite/CODEL product compared to competitors

    · Provide quoting program training and assistance

    · Inform customer of lead times, quality, and price competitiveness and note benefit over competitors

    · Show customers available displays/samples and how to use

    OTHER/MISCELLANEOUS:

    · Communicate with Sales Manager regularly/weekly about customer sales activities, programs, and trends.

    · Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

    · Prepare monthly activity and expense reports, including periodic territory sales forecasts.

    · Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Must have good personal relations skills

    · Must be able to communicate effectively both one-on-one and group settings

    · Must have good personal hygiene and dress in a professional and industry appropriate manner

    · Must have a clean working vehicle

    · Must have a good driving record

    · Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and basic computer use skills
