The Cash and Payment Processing Representative

TRINITY RESORT SERVICES, LLC is seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to provide personalized service reflecting our culture with each customer interaction. The Cash and Payment Processing Representative is in charge of entering all contract info into the electronic database, gathering and posting payment from all sources and work with the Client Banking representative to ensure all payments are posted, reported and properly reconciled against the banking reports.
CLASSIFICATION:
These positions are full-time, exempt positions (eligible for overtime) and may occasionally require long hours and weekend work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position is responsible for the data entry of contracts sales and modifications as well as payments application to customer's accounts. Contract come in electronically and payments come in via wires, lockbox transfers, and electronic funds transfer (EFT). The initial duties of the role include the following items:
Data entry on new sales, contract modifications, cancellations, etc.
Input data from source contract documents into computer following format of program entering necessary codes and making necessary corrections to information entered.
Record completed work and respond to inquiries regarding entered data. Transfer entered information into database.
Files or routes source documents after entry.
· Payment application based on rules and payment logic.
· Pull deposits from source to create and apply payments. Including bank and lockbox activity.
· Pull daily the bank report(s) to create and post payments that came in via EFT, item adjustments and wires.
· Receive, review and post deposits.
· Process checks, credit card payments received.
· Review and post checks received via lockbox transfers.
· Allocate banking fees.
· Process refunds returned items.
· Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and other reports as required.
· Make recommendations to optimize processes and procedures.
· Detailed research as needed.
• Assist with various projects and month-end needs, as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional and fun office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, headphones, and other technological equipment necessary to execute the essential job functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o High school diploma or equivalent.
o Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a payment applications/bank teller role and data processing.
o Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
o Strong attention to detail and accurate entry.
o Ability to adapt well in a changing, fast paced, high volume work environment.
o Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
o Ability to work overtime if needed.
o Must be proficient in a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office.
o Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English.
o Results-oriented with excellent customer service and people skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Experience in the hospitality industry.
o Timeshare knowledge.
o Bilingual: English and Spanish a plus
