Tristrand Therapy Services is looking for a Part-time, In-Home BCBA to serve clients in Wylie, Princeton and Richardson, Texas for 13-15 hours per week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Treatment Plan: Develop and facilitate programming for skill acquisition using applied behavior analysis techniques

• Behavior intervention plans: Develop and facilitate behavior intervention plans for reducing maladaptive behavior(s)

• Data collection and analysis: Collect, analyze, interpret, and intervene based on the occurrence of target behaviors and replacement behaviors

• Assessments and Reports: Complete initial assessment reports and reauth reports within the requirements of funding source including the use of assessment tools

• Supervision: Provide ongoing training and supervision of paraprofessional staff and parents in implementation of ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies.

• Parent Training: Train, model, and provide feedback on the implementation of the behavior plan to caregivers

• Collaborate: Collaborate with other professionals in the client’s life, including the teachers, doctors and other therapists

• Soap Notes: Create accurate clinical notes utilizing data collection software

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have current/active BCBA certification

• Requires a master’s degree in a related field such as behavior analysis, psychology, or education

• Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition, continuing

• Maintain BCBA certification by participation in continued education courses (32 credits every 2 years)

• Candidate must have a clean driving record, driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance

• Ability to pass a background check

• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook systems
