Comfort Keepers® is looking for a lead Home Service Technician to provide handyman services to our senior clients under the company's TruBlue name. Comfort Keepers is a leading provider of non-medical, in-home care services for seniors in the suburban metro area.

TruBlue and Comfort Keepers have joined forces to keep our clients safely in their homes by providing handyman / home maintenance services to our senior clients.

Your role will be to assess our clients' physical homes for any items that need to be fixed or installed, including grab bars, ramps, handrails, lighting, and more. You will then make recommendations to the client to perform the work and then schedule the installation of the items. You'll be working in conjunction with the Comfort Keepers schedulers (inside) and client service managers (outside), who will be the source of the client leads that you'll be following up on.

This role is a good fit for an experienced handyman who wants to focus on the actual work and NOT on back office processes and paperwork. Comfort Keepers will provide all, or most, of the leads for you through the company's normal process, and your job will be to follow up on the leads. And, you'll help us build out our team of handymen.

If you have 10 or more years of paid experience in general carpentry and handyman work, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a seasoned Team Leader with the following experience:

Bathroom upgrades / remodel

Drywall repair / patching/ caulking

Flooring repair and installation

General carpentry

General home repairs and handyman work

Kitchen repair / remodel

Minor plumbing and electrical

Painting interior and exterior

The appropriate candidate for the Lead Technician/Handyman position will be proficient in miscellaneous around-the-house type repairs like carpentry, basic plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic electrical. Candidates do not need to be licensed tradesmen, but those candidates are welcome to apply.

Qualified candidates will need a driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and standard tools. Candidate must also be a legal citizen of the US, and speak fluent English
