Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport a variety steel material from our warehouse to a variety of local businesses. You will follow proven local routes for delivery of steel, ensure adherence to delivery schedules and safety, and perform routine vehicle inspections. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience driving rigs with flat bed trailers of 45ft, making safety a number one priority.

Responsibilities

Pick up steel material from our warehouse and transport to another local business.

Perform routine safety inspections.

Ensure your load of steel is secure at all times.

Maintain driving log, and re-fueling at designated sites.

Comply with all company policies and driving laws.

Qualifications

Must have reliable transportation

be available to work 5 days per week starting at 5:30am (M-F) with some overtime

Previous experience as a Truck Driver (Flat bed experience is preferred)

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)

Graduation certificate from trucking school is preferred

Extensive familiarity with driving within the City of Tucson and surrounding areas

Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

must have steel toe shoes.

Willingness to help load/unload steel when necessary
