Job Summary:
TC Rentals is seeking hard-working, detail-oriented team players to join our ever-changing, fast-paced special events industry. As a Driver at TC Rentals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of equipment to and from event locations in the greater Bay Area. With over 20 years of experience, we have been a part of prestigious events such as Bay to Breakers, The SF Marathon, BottleRock, Outside Lands, 3 Giants World Series parades, 3 Warriors Championship parades, and many more marquee events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely navigate to and from event locations.
- Load and unload equipment, with a focus on barricades and traffic control items.
- Maintain timelines to ensure punctual arrival and setup at events.
- Track inventory and ensure accurate counts of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and event organizers.
- Multitask and use initiative to address challenges independently.
- Lead and motivate the assigned team during transportation and setup.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
Qualifications:
- Ability to download and use mobile apps for scheduling, time tracking, and accessing work-related information.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Trailering experience is a plus.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and carry barricades and equipment weighing up to 40lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Ability to use basic smartphone apps and navigation software.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a driving role, preferably with equipment transportation.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Required to lift 40 lbs repeatedly.
