Our mission is to provide exemplary service, reliable transportation, and creative solutions to meet our customers' logistics needs. We operate Dry van freight with a huge emphasis on dropped trailers for mid-size to larger customers who have the capacity to load and unload on their timeline. We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and goal-oriented Director of Business Development to join our team and help us expand our operations and build strong relationships. Responsibilities: • Create and implement tactical plans to promote company expansion and increase the client base. • Construct and maintain a positive rapport with potential and current customers. • Coordinate efficiently with internal groups to guarantee a consistent, remarkable client journey. • Attend industry events, shows, and conventions to showcase our ability and broaden our network. • Accumulate a thorough understanding of our services, the Californian freight market, and the latest industry developments. • Monitor, assess, and report on performance metrics, leveraging data-based insights to enhance our strategies and optimize outcomes. • Provide feedback and guidance in the creation of promotional materials, offers, and presentations that emphasize our distinct value. Qualifications: • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field, with preference given to those with a Master's degree. OR... • Demonstrated track record of success in transportation, logistics, or a similar sector, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in business development. • In-depth knowledge of the Bloomington, CA regional freight environment, specializing in full truckload hauls and industry standards. • Exceptional networking skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence clients effectively. • Proficient communicator and presenter capable of articulating the company's vision and value proposition to various stakeholders. • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable ventures. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and other specialized software and tools relevant to the industry. Compensation: $65,000+ yearly
