    Job Description

    As the Customer Service Representative, you will be focused on catering sales coordination and responsible for increasing the catering close rate and growing the Catering, Hoods, and Partners business in Colorado. You will be working in a dynamic, startup environment, and reporting to the Catering Sales Manager. We have a hybrid work policy, with the flexibility to work from home from time-to-time. This role gets you in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company and is best suited for a high performer who thrives in a hustle environment.

    KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • CATERING SALES COORDINATION - You are a matchmaker to get clients in touch with the right food truck for their event. Respond to inbound catering requests submitted through our catering request form on our website. Educate clients about how food truck catering works and what to expect. Work to increase your market's close rate and book quality business for all of your trucks.

    • PORTAL MANAGEMENT - Become an expert at managing Truckster's proprietary catering automation process using the Truckster Online Portal. Keep clear records on the Portal of each catering lead and your interaction with food trucks and clients.

    • TRUCKSTER HOODS AND TRUCKSTER PARTNERS MANAGEMENT - Manage a recurring schedule of food trucks for each location, including sending a variety of trucks, maintaining clients' custom webpages on Truckster, building flyers for each location, and encouraging Truckster Ordering at each location. Work on last minute fill-ins and replacements when food trucks cancel.

    • EVENT SUCCESS - Ensure food trucks and clients are confirming their upcoming events each week. Review sales feedback to verify that trucks are doing well at our events and we are able to invoice trucks in a timely manner.

    • DRIVING FINANCIAL SUCCESS - Work to increase the catering close rate, drive to exceed financial goals, and achieve KPI’s (key performance indicators). You will review metrics with the Truckster Team monthly and present your own goals and achievements.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales.
    • Friendly, and exhibit excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-starter, motivated to fill your time, and driven to achieve goals.
    • Organized, can juggle multiple priorities at once, and manage your time.
    • High attention to detail, you’re able to stay on top of the event details and schedules.
    • You can master an easy-to-use app and Truckster’s proprietary automated catering process.
    • Proficient with email, phone sales, Google Docs, Slack, and other online tools.
    • Must love food and food truck culture!

    COMPENSATION:

    • Annual salary of $42,000 + commission opportunities.

    Truckster is a sales and marketing platform for food trucks. Think Yelp, DoorDash, or Bookings.Com, but specifically for food trucks. We serve 3 target markets: 1) Food Truck Owners; 2) Foodies / Consumers; and 3) Catering Clients. We have a consumer app and website to help foodies find trucks, order ahead, and book trucks for catering. We also have an app for food truck owners, Truckster Vendor, where trucks control their profiles. Food trucks connect with consumers using Truckster Vendor, an app for mobile and tablets. Through Truckster Vendor, Truckster delivers: -Increased sales opportunities through mobile and online ordering -Integration into popular POS systems, easing the process workflow -Enhanced consumer relationship -Outsourced marketing services -Dashboard analytics -Qualified catering leads Consumers interact with trucks using the Truckster app and website. Key consumer functionality includes: -Exploring the best food trucks and search by specific cuisines -Using a map to find nearby food trucks -Viewing ratings and reviews -Skipping the lines with mobile ordering -Sharing events and trucks with friends. Catering clients primarily use the Truckster website and our concierge catering service to find and book food trucks or create a regular schedule of food trucks. Our catering services span: -Booking food trucks for private catering, public events, festivals, and other events -Building partnerships with wedding planners, event venues, city event directors, and others -Developing Truckster Hoods, where we create, manage, and market rotating food truck schedules for apartments, neighborhoods, HOA’s, office buildings, businesses, and business parks. Truckster launched in 2019, and is in 3 major food truck markets today. We are looking to build a team to help us make Truckster a nationwide brand, helping foodies and small business owners everywhere.
